As ratepayers, it’s crucial that we know how the local municipality is spending our money. We’ve identified that there’s a need to review and consider budgets and spending, and to understand the sources of funding for spending, projects and development.
We believe it’s imperative to convey to our members where their money is being spent. After all, ratepayers are important stakeholders in any local municipality. They deserve to have clarity and understanding on all related financial matters.
