This correspondence has been sent to Ndlambe LM to ask for a urgent postponement of the Special Council Meeting which is scheduled for Friday 30 June 2023 at 12h00 – less than 48 hours notice given to write-off R34 million debt…some of it owed by ratepayers’ who own houses worth well over R2 million and businesses who expect ratepayers to subsidise their enterprises. This is simply unacceptable and requires urgent attention.
