I hope you are well.
I have had a few small meetings with the residents of Station Hill. I am not sure if you are aware but they have advised that there are hardly any street lights which still work in this area. At night (even when its not load shedding) the streets are left dark and there is a serious crime issue in Station Hill.
This is a sad situation, as from what I understand, many older folks are targeted and its completely unsafe in the evenings.
From what I understand, this area falls under Eskom for its electricity (and not CDR)?
We need to help this community, its ratepayers and residents deserve better than this. How do we go about dealing with the lights which are not working?
