The Eastern Cape Department of Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism (DEDEAT) has appointed Habitat Link Consulting (HLC) to develop an Estuarine Management Plan (EMP) for the Kowie Estuary, located in Port Alfred, within the Ndlambe Local Municipality.
Please note that the attached Draft EMP is available for public review and comment from 5 September 2022 until 5 October 2022.
In addition, a hard-copy of the report will be made available at the Port Alfred Public Library (1 Causeway Street, Port Alfred, 6170) and at the Dr IK Mabindisa Library (1557 Runeli Drive, Nemato, Port Alfred, 6170).
