On 22 August 2022, PARRA addressed correspondence to Community Protection Services regarding the removal and damage to road signs along West Beach Drive. A number of signs appear to have been removed and damaged on the same day and therefore we suspect that it was due to vandalism. This is obviously very disappointing as it is a waste of time and resources, however it is important that they are dealt with for traffic safety, as well as affecting the general impression of our town. We shall continue to monitor these area’s.
Good day Fanie
I trust you are well.
There seems to have been some vandals at work on West Beach Drive. Various street signs have been knocked over and removed.
STOP SIGN REMOVED:
SIGN COMPLETELY KNOCKED DOWN – seems to have since been removed:
POLES OF OTHER SIGNS HAVE BEEN PUSHED OVER
Would it be possible to please have these repaired and replaced where necessary to neaten up the area? This is all in one area around the Sandawana Complex on West Beach Drive.
Thanking you in advance.
Regards
Lindsay Luppnow
