PARRA – Water Update as of 1 February 2022
Water has stopped flowing over the Weir at Waters Meeting (29th January 2022).
Picture shows water flowing into Sarel Hayward Dam from the top inlet valve. (25th January 2022). Estimates are that the dam is nearly 25% full.
Balancing Dam (31st January 2022) estimated to be 70% full.
It is important that the Municipality needs to make it a high priority to keep doing maintenance on the Pumps in the Four Pump stations supplying water to Port Alfred!
